The Graham Nuckolls Conner Law Firm, PLLC is Greenville, North Carolina’s leading family law practice. We are seeking a motivated and ambitious family law paralegal to join our award-winning team. Desired skill-set: The candidate should have outstanding attention to detail and organization; the candidate should be self-motivated, but should also possess demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team; the candidate should have the ability to take constructive criticism and instruction, able to handle time management with attorneys and staff; have sound judgment; have the ability to assist others when needed; strive for excellent customer service; and have the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and empathy.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: drafting pleadings, motions, discovery and legal correspondence; managing case files and calendars, including court dates and deadlines; assisting attorneys in preparation for hearings, mediations, and depositions; communicating with clients, court staff and members of the offices of opposing counsel; and filing documents with court (e-filing experience preferred).
Qualifications include the following: a minimum of two (2) years paralegal experience with experience in family law being a plus; North Carolina Certified Paralegal preferred but not required; strong knowledge of court procedures and local rules; and proficiency with legal software (e.g., TrialWorks, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks, eCourts).
